A few new photographers have joined the ranks, among them H. Jenkins of Wallingford, Fielder & Co of Chichester, H Bonn of London, Donald Massey of Bognor and Thomas Boxell of Scarborough.

There is also this new card for husband and wife team, Mr & Mrs Ward, showing their premises in Croydon

Almost all the photographers mentioned on this blog are from my own collection (except those in ‘Miscellaneous’). This means that if you find a photographer who is of interest to you, I can scan in his trade card for you to see.

A list of ‘named sitters’ will be available shortly. (Named sitters are quite rare and only occur when a name, and sometimes a date or address, has been inscribed on the reverse of a photograph.)
